SS COIL
At KRN Heat Exchanger & Refrigeration Ltd., our Stainless Steel Coils are designed for applications that demand strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. Built with premium AISI 304, 316, or 316L stainless steel, these coils are ideal for environments where hygiene, chemical resistance, and long service life are critical.
SS coils are widely used in pharmaceutical, food & beverage, chemical processing, marine, and HVAC systems where conventional copper or aluminum coils may not withstand harsh conditions.
Design & Construction
- Tube Material: Copper, stainless steel, or copper-nickel for excellent heat transfer and corrosion resistance
- Tube Diameter Options: 3/8” (9.52 mm), 1/2” (12.7 mm), 5/8” (15.88 mm)
- Fin Material: Aluminum (standard), copper, or coated fins for harsh environments
- Fin Thickness: 0.12 – 0.30 mm
- Fin Pitch: 1.6 mm – 3.2 mm (customizable)
- Circuit Options: Multiple circuits and row configurations (1–12 rows) depending on application
- Frame/Casing: Galvanized steel, stainless steel, or aluminum
- Steam Coil Design: Available in standard steam coils or distributing steam coils (for sub-zero or high-pressure applications to prevent condensate buildup)
- Testing: 100% coils pressure tested up to 400 psi (27.5 bar) to ensure leak-free operation
